Lying

Sometimes, when we are communicating with someone else, we find out that their verbal language is contradicted with their nonverbal language. However, you are not sure that are they lying to you. You feel very awkward when you are facing this situation. You just do not want to listen to them yet; you just tune off and want to escape from them.

Now, I would like to share some typical signs and signals when a person is lying. First, there will be little or no eye contact with you. They will try to avoid you because they do not want to look and have eye contact with you. There may also have rapid eye movement. Their eyeball will move left or right constantly.

Secondly, their breathing rate will increase rapidly. You can easily detect this abnormal feature because they will breathe very fast. At the same time, their complexion will change especially their face and neck. Their face and neck will gradually turn red.

Subsequently, their perspiration will increase. They will be sweating in a large amount and very nervous. Their voice tones will be change by changing in pitch, throat clearing and stammering.

Most importantly, their body will turn away from you and they will show some unusual body gestures. Their fingers will place in front of their mouth while speaking to you. If you notice these kinds of features, they may most probably lie to you. However, you should not avoid them; instead, you should ask them more questions and try to observe them whether he or she is a trustworthy person.
