Fix yourself

Song of the post : Coldplay - Fix you
Note : it was this song inspired me to write this post.
Dedicated to someone.

When you are stressed, what do you do?
When your friend is stressed and he has a get-off-i-got-work look, what do you do?
What if you need to say something important to that person, do you go to him and say? Or shut up and wait for next time?

I am saying that, when we are stressed, we are less likely to be conscious of what we are doing. Maybe not all of us, but most of us do. We tend to be annoyed when it irritates you. We tend to scream to the person. We tend to tighten our fists. We tend to smash whatever we are holding.
Do you want the person beside you to get sad because you are stressed an let your anger out?

We never know what we will do, when we are stressed.
We do not pay much attention to what our face do and our language say.
We unintentionally spit all the anger out to whoever or whatever is near to you.

Do you feel stress?
If you do, do yourself a favour.
Run.

Run the whole office.

Run the whole floor.

Run from the HELP Main entrance to DSA.

Run back and forth to Main entrance to DSA.

Run from the first floor to second floor using stairs.

Run from the second floor to the third floor using stairs.

Run from the third floor to the top of the building.

Run up to down.

Run outside the building.

Run as if there is no tomorrow.

Run as if you can run faster than Forest Gump.

Run as if the monsters are coming after you.

Run and do not bump into anything.

Set yourself free by running.

Set your mind free.

Never look back.

After you have done running, go back, and face the challenge with that heart.

The heart of being fixed.

Overcoming Low Self Esteem

Self esteem is very important in our daily life because it is how important you think you are but not other people. Some people with high self esteem believe in their own abilities and capabilities. They believe that they can achieve their goals. However, people with low self esteem do not think they are valuable and their self worth is very low. As a result, they become very timid and fearful.

This showed that there is a big different between people with high self esteem and low self esteem and how self esteem can become barrier in your life. Therefore, it is important to overcome your low self esteem. There are several ways to overcome low self esteem, such as self examination. People who are brought up in a negative environment are more prone to have low self esteem. Thus, it is advisable not to look at your past, instead look at the present. You should start to self-examine your attitudes, behaviors, emotions, responses and thoughts.

Moreover, you should change your thinking pattern. You can list down you achievements and successes in the past and use it to encourage yourself. In this way, it can encourage you to think in a positive way. Besides, you should stop thinking thoughts and images that are bothering you and instead, you should replace it with an inspire picture and positive words.

In addition, you should take some effort to monitor how you talk. The way you speak will affect your self esteem. People with low self esteem always love to say that they are not good enough when communicating with others and this believe causes to affect their emotion and then their action. Hence, you should eliminate the negative thoughts and replace it with a good and positive affirmation.

Furthermore, you should have firm decisions. Every one of us has our own choice to become a person with healthy and high self esteem and vice versa. If you take the action to build your self esteem, eventually you will regain your dignity and pride and you will like yourself much more than others.

How to Improve Your Verbal Communication Skills

Although nonverbal communication has made up a large percentage of our daily interpersonal communication, we should not overlook the important of verbal communication. Verbal communication is so crucial in our daily life because we always use it as a tool for communication with people around us. However, not every person is good in it. As a result, a lot of miscommunication happens among one another and many of us do not take action to correct our mistakes even though we are aware that we had made a mistake. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunities encourage each of every one of us to take actions to improve our verbal communication skills.

There are several ways to improve your verbal communication. First and foremost, you can use positive words to challenge your limiting beliefs. The words you use to express your thought will determine how your emotion is. Next, you can tell or narrate a story before you want to get people’s attention. You can do so by telling some jokes or narrate a story as well as reading a quote. People will feel comfortable to talk to you after you tell or narrate a story. Besides, people will feel relax and more opened to listen to your problems.

Subsequently, you must ask the right questions. Asking the right questions will give a positive debate and interaction that will benefit to all of us. Moreover, it can reduce the unnecessary arguments by expressing your skills of communication effectively. In the same time, you must think and prepare before your speak. We should think by using our brains and not depend on our emotion. In addition, you can reduce the usage of verbal cue. We should not use verbal cues too frequently because it will irritate the listeners and causes the listeners to lose interest. Lat but not least, you should avoid careless language. A careless language will create a lot of problem to the consumers.

SHOUT

It is really difficult and hard to express anger in a very positive way. For me, I find that letting it out and explode is the best way although it is not suggest to anybody. Whenever i got mad, I will curse repeatedly and shouting loudly to that person without them knowing it. I just cursed to my own selves. These extremes are not good actually because its better when you express anger in a healthy way so that you can resolve it more quickly and get back on with your life. I just shared it with you guys. Everybody has their own way to express anger.

Sign language

I suddenly remembered there's one day I went to Kuching, Sarawak for holiday. I went there alone to meet my old friends who had moved there. It was three years ago if I'm not mistaken. I stayed at my friend's house and i don't know why this one day, I'm craving for KFC. Maybe because they can't stopped served me with all kinds of Sarawak's weird food and its making my stomach feeling quite...hurm, I not sure how to describe the feeling.

Anyway, to be a very good 'tuan rumah', my friend took me to the town and there's only one KFC store there to be honest. When I entered, i'm quite suprised to see all the workers there are retarded people. I realised when i want to order at the counter and they are making all the sign language which I didn't even understand and I almost burst out but I'm not that mean.

After fiteen minutes I think, I finally managed to get the person understand what I'm trying to order with her friend's help. Maybe she's new. I don't know. But their service is so much better.

What I'm trying to say is eventhough its hard for other people to communicate with them; I think all these people should be given more chances to work at this kind of places cause they are also human being who can really work. and with this oppurtunity, they can mix and socialize with other normal people so that they will not be left out in this environment.

Normal people like us can also learn sign languages so that it's easier to communicate with them.
Its not that hard after all right if you really put the effort.
